Dear Fellow Artists,
October was a quiet month for the association. Our general meeting was well attended and our demonstration guest speaker was engaging, shared his unique style of art and his thought processes to create them. It was inspiring to hear about and see his wonderful creations.

Dear Fellow Artists,
After a very busy summer season things will be calming down this Fall. We next hang in the SL Senior Center on Monday, December 2 at 3pm. I have not confirmed the date but toward the end of December we will be hanging at Zocalos, details to come. The Board and I will be using the relative quiet of the next few months to start planning events for 2020. We may try to throw something together for early December to capture some holiday sales. Start thinking of smaller items as they seem to sell better.

Dear Fellow Artists,
Well, July was a busy month! We hung the show at The Cooler, on July 11 with 23 members participating. Many thanks to Marcia O’Kane, Molly Dolly, John and Kathy Ries, and Chris Erwin for their help hanging the show!
On July 25, we participated at Truth Thursday.

Dear Fellow Artists,
There is a LOT going on in the next few months for the Art Association. First off, due to staffing issues at the library, we can no longer stay past 8:00 p.m. so we are changing the start time to 5:45 p.m. to allow for our usual segments: mingle, meeting and demo.

Dear Fellow Artists,
On June 1, the art association participated in the 110th annual Cherry Festival in San Leandro. We had two booths across the street from each other, one for our craft table and the other an information booth where we handed out art packets for children (and some adults!).
